Our client is an engineering group with significant electrical and mechanical projects in both Hong Kong and China. To support the company’s expansion in HK, they are now looking for high calibre individuals for both Senior Engineer / Engineer (HVAC Installation) in Hong Kong for their E&M projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overall project operations, co-ordination and handover
- To follow through the project design, job specification and method statements
- Monitor work progress and site safety in compliance with the contractual and statutory requirements
- To supervise a team of junior staff to ensure the smooth running of the project, on-time delivery and completion of site works in a safe manner
- Liaise and coordinate with architects, consultants, main contractors and related parties for project interfaces
- Prepare required drawings, corresponding documents and statutory submission
- Responsible for costing, tender estimation, tendering procurement, and subcontractor monitoring
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Building Services or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines
- Minimum 7 years or above (for Senior Engineer) / 4 years (for Engineer) relevant experience in project co-ordination, supervision and HVAC installation
- Good communication, project coordination and leadership skills
- Proactive, drive to success and able to work independently and under pressure
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office and AUTOCAD software application
- Candidate with lesser experience will be considered for the Engineer post
